Born In Mississauga, Chris has lived and worked in Ottawa, Halifax, Calgary, and Vancouver.
In 2007 he took a half year off to travel through South East Asia (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, China, and Hong Kong), Australia and New Zealand. It was on this trip Chris caught the travel bug and has been craving more ever since.
In the fall of 2012 he finally set forth on a dream trip to “Experience the World.” Seriously, that’s about all the plan was, you can’t layout a trip like that. He’s got a backpack, some gear, a list of place that would be nice to see “if he get there” and a desire to just let the chips fall where they may.
Pedro the Penguin
No one really knows where Pedro was actually born (because Bolivians don’t keep birth certificates) but he was raised in the highlands of Bolivia by Milagros, a warm and loving llama mama.
His idyllic childhood was cut short abruptly when his mother was taken captive by a roaming band of Bolivian gypsies.
Pedro grew up on the hard streets of La Paz, making his way in the Witches Market until one day, he met a young woman who would change his life. She enchanted him with tales of the world – of bright city lights, white sand beaches, jungle sunsets and the high mountains of his childhood.
In one moment, everything changed and Pedro left everything to join her on her journey. Now, he’s dedicated his life to exploring the world and having adventures.
Chris and Pedro met in the summer of 2012 and realized shortly there after that they made great traveling partners. They’ve decided to share their tales of adventure, photos of far off places, and advice on travel with the world.
